As a follow up to my The Good, The Bad And The Ugly poster, I bring you… 12 Angry men.
The two versions on show here (one portrait and one landscape) were hand drawn with pen, brush and ink, scanned into Photoshop and assembled to fit my pre-planned layouts. Extra texture elements are added last on separate layers.
See below for a little work in progress slide-show. Comments are always welcome.
Enjoy,
Wing

Amazed. How long does it take you to create a poste like this?
Hey.
Thanks for the comment. To answer your question, the artwork itself takes around a week of solid work and i’ll take photos as it progresses. Then i’ll usually spend a hour or 2 putting the final blog post together. So what do you think of it?
Thanks for the reply! Wow a week of solid work! Nice one. I think it’s quality! I love the composition of all the illustrations in both of the portrait and landscape poster designs and I think that the frame layer and texture layer looks effective behind them. I am really interested in how you go about creating work like this and I love coming on here to see your new work and the stages of development you show!
Thanks a lot. Always nice to hear that someone’s looking and appreciates it.
this is so cool, thanks for putting the slideshow at the end of your posts, it’s great seeing the work in progress… that pencil-sketch portrait style is always something I’ve admired and wanted to emulate but I think I’ll stick with daft cartoons. Excellent work man
Thanks matey!
beautiful!
Thank you!
